If you have done schooling from vernacular medium, Then start with easy novels Authors like Sir APJ Abdul Kalam, Chetan Bhagat, Rashmi Bansal etc. Read Hindu news paper and its Editorials. Become a voracious reader. Trust me, You will see the improvement in your reading and comprehension skills.
- Try to make a group of friends who always speak in English. So that you have to speak in English. Make a habit.
Make your profile strong :
- Yes, You have heard it correctly ! You will have to make your resume (Profile) strong enough during college. Take part in competitions like Sport or Events at College level, District level or State level.
- Join some NGO and do some Volunteer work. Do some good work for poor people without expecting money. Manage things and People.
- If you have some idea or You want to start your own business/Venture then go for it. This is not recommended if you do not have time. First preference should be study.
- So, These extra curricular activities will impact on your overall profile and you will sure make the cut for the good university if you want to go for higher studies.
